Labour Day Lunch

Having spent Saturday and Sunday at uni, it was nice to have the Monday off as a public holiday. I enjoyed a joggle with Sarah in the morning and then a day cooking.

We made pretzels, pierogi and corned beef. The toils of our labour became lunch. Pretzels were surprisingly fun and easy to make. It did involve some time waiting for the dough to rise and a double cooking process of boiling and baking. Pierogi was equally fun messing about with flour and rolling pins. Eating it all was just as delicious!
