Things Learnt In Transit
1. When first landing on beachfront, your sneakers and jeans will give you away as not quite from around here.
2. The waitress chick from Cafe Le Monde is a goldfish. We dined there countless times to always receive that same cheerful but blank greeting.
3. A tan from a convertible is altogether a different kettle of coppertone.
4. Fraser Island is entirely made up of sand. Sand. Yet there is a freshwater lake. Go figure.
5. I forget about that whole Balance and Moderation thing on holidays. See tight pants and scary scales. Sigh.

7. The Ginger Factory in Yandina shows us that it ain’t over till there is a boat ride with a giant fibreglass gingerbreadman
